An isolated, weatherboarded inn set among woodland and well worth finding. The low beamed main bar has a large fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Seating/eating areas are at either end. The new paintwork gives a light and airy appearance. A large car park is close but opposite. The menu changes often and meals are to a high standard. Sunday lunches are popular and are catered by three sittings. Breakfast is available Wednesday to Sunday and takeaway food all week. Walkers, families and dogs are welcome in the enclosed good-size grassed area.
