EAST MALLING BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL

East Malling Research Centre, New Road, East Malling. ME19 6BJ.
Our annual showcase event and highlight of the branch's calendar, the festival is usually held on the first Saturday of September each year at East Malling Research Centre.
We aim to have around 70 real ales and 35 ciders and perries on offer along with live music and food vendors.
Getting to the Festival
Free hourly shuttle buses from the rail stations at
Maidstone East (from 1020),
West Malling (from 1030) and
Aylesford (from 1035).
Buses to/from West Malling station will also call at Lunsford Lane End and Wealden Hall on the A20.
Parking is available on site, but please don't drink and drive.
No overnight parking - the nearest public car park is behind The King & Queen in East Malling, but please don't use the pub car park itself.
Dogs and children are welcome at the festival, but not in the marquee please (except for assistance dogs).
No alcohol to be brought onto the site.
Opening Hours and Admission Prices
The festival is open from
1100 until 1900.
Admission is free for card-carrying CAMRA members,
or £6 for non-members.
No need to book in advance, just pay on entry.
Both cash and cards are accepted.
A £10 Starter Pack, available on entry, contains a programme, £3 refundable glass deposit and £7 worth of beer tokens.
Only beer tokens are accepted at the bar; additional tokens can be purchased at the membership stand.
Unused tokens are refundable or can be donated to the festival charity.
