EAST MALLING BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL

Our annual showcase event and highlight of the branch's calendar, the festival is usually held on the first Saturday of September each year at East Malling Research Centre.
We aim to have around 70 real ales and 30 ciders and perries on offer along with live music and food vendors.
Getting to the Festival
Free hourly shuttle buses from the rail stations at
Maidstone East (from 1025 to 1725),
Aylesford (1055 to 1755) and
West Malling (1035 to 1735).
The Aylesford station bus stop is on Bellingham Way, turn right out of the station then right again at the traffic lights.
Buses to/from West Malling station will also call at Lunsford Lane End on the A20.
Return buses leave the Fesitival site hourly to
Maidstone East (from 1200 to 2000),
Aylesford (1150 to 1950) and
West Malling (1150 to 1950).
Parking is available on site, but please don't drink and drive.
No overnight parking - the nearest public car park is behind The King & Queen in East Malling, but please don't use the pub car park itself.
Opening Hours and Admission Prices
The festival is open from
1100 until 1900.
Dogs and children are welcome at the festival, but not in the marquee please (except for assistance dogs).
No alcohol to be brought onto the site.
Admission is free for card-carrying CAMRA members,
or £6 for non-members.
No need to book in advance, just pay on entry.
Both cash and cards are accepted.
A £10 Starter Pack, available at the marquee entrance, contains a programme, £3 refundable glass deposit and £7 worth of beer tokens. No cash accepted at the bar; additional tokens are available to purchase on site.
Unused tokens are also refundable or can be donated to the festival charity, The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance.
